The Mental Load Reset: Live Workshop

You keep everything else running. Why is taking care of yourself the thing you can't seem to make stick?

Next session: Thursday, October 22, 7:00pm Central. Online.

You're not bad at taking care of yourself. You're just the only thing in your life that doesn't come with a consequence when you don't. The kid misses the dentist and somebody notices. You miss the meeting and somebody notices. You skip your walk and nothing happens today. So everything attached to somebody else wins, week after week, and you have spent years reading that as a discipline problem. In these 90 minutes we look at what your behavior is actually competing with, and we redesign the conditions around it. You won't leave with more things to do.

What happens in the room.

Why capable women still struggle with consistency.

We look at the invisible decisions, reminders, planning, and      follow-up competing for your attention—and why “trying harder” rarely fixes the problem.

Find what is actually taking up your capacity.

A guided audit of the mental load, recurring decisions, routines, and unfinished loops that keep pulling your attention away from the things you want to prioritize.

Find the pattern.

Where does the behavior break down? What happens right before it? What makes the current pattern easier to repeat than the one you actually want?

Redesign the environment.

Use the Six Doors: eliminate, simplify, lower the standard, automate, create a default, or hand over ownership. Each participant chooses one real-life problem and redesigns it during the session.

Build the bad-week version.

Create a minimum standard and recovery plan so your routines don’t disappear the moment work gets busy, someone gets sick, or life changes shape.

What people leave with.

A clearer understanding of what is draining their capacity—and one behavior already redesigned.

Each participant leaves with:

  • A completed personal audit

  • One specific environmental change to implement

  • A minimum standard for a difficult week

  • A simple behavior-design framework they can reuse at home, at work, and with their own health habits

No complicated system. No new app. No expectation that you suddenly become more disciplined.
